I literally have the same exact iMac, except I installed 12gb of ram instead of 16gb. Also running the same version of macos and attract. Absolutely no issue, except with apple for requiring metal.

I know man, but think that no everyone can has a cabinet or a CRT in their house, and people want to play arcade too in their TVs or PCs.
That's why i made a preconfigured full set of bezels for every single emulator the theme includes, with the same images and style of the theme. People can play the games and keep the 4:3 resolutions without ugly black bars
I was referencing your layout. It has a generic cabinet with a widescreen monitor, stretching the image.

I simply asked for a theme that has, or is close to have, the features I need for my project.

It would take minutes then modify any layout as you requested. The real question is why would you need such an odd request. Without justification, why would anyone take the time to do such a thing?

AttractMode will use your desktop resolution. Try disabling AMD External Events Utility. See my arcade mvs wiki.

According to docs, there is no return on the system command. You can direct output to file. However, will attract wait for process to finish? Will you have to keep checking if file created?

Otherwise I will make an autohotkey script to rename a video in my intros folder to intro.mp4 at random.

Use my gitlab fork. I replaced the official intro with my version. Common and file modules are dependencies.

The console has been the only mini to spark my interest. I would have bought it immediately if it had composite video. Layout looks good. I haven't tried it yet, but will soon. I suggest naming pce to follow mame driver? PCE-mini?
