um.... ok this is embarrassing..  the problem seems to have corrected its self..... idk. im gonna try a couple more once my kids are in bed. if it dont work ill post screen shots and what not...

seems if i get it off of the pc i made it on and put it in a differant installment  of am it works fine.......

physics DO NOT apply in my house....

ive changed all that.. also most layouts are the same res and they work just fine. also drag and drop af any layout is NOT working.

i know im no idiot but this thing is sure making me feel like one.....

when i make a layout it works nice. butt.... only 1/4 of the screen is used no matter what i set res to.

what am i doing wrong??

can the game list be replaced with marquees in place of say like wheel art??

i love this layout and would like to change the game list to marque and have marquee light up instead of pointing at it.

my bad. you can change that in mame. guess i assumed you could in nes too. i guessed wrong... im sorry for that.

ok so i looked up this error and only a handfull has had this issue. and the only solution i could find is , use another nes emulator.

sorry cant be better help.
still think its a hardware issue. maybe change resolution ...

what grafix card r you using or is it integrated ? sounds like a hardware problem to me. i know mame will let you choose d3d opengl and a few others. maybe turn d3d off in nestopia. or try attract 32bit . 32 bit attract works WAY better for me anyways....
