Noob VS Filters redux

Mmmbacon:
Just when I think i have a grasp of Attract Mode filtering, I get slapped right back down to size.  I want to make a filter that leaves out fruit machines.  Simple right?  Ive already imported catver.ini successfully, and tried to filter them like this:

Filter Name
No Fruit For YOU

Rule:
target: category
comparison: does not contain
filter value: fruit machines

That should work no???

I'm looking at the examples on the wiki: https://github.com/mickelson/attract/wiki/Example-filters and I think you may have the wrong filter value.  Try changing it to casino

Mmmbacon:
Wouldn't that filter out more that just the Fruit Machines?  Blackjack and cardgames etc?

Looking at my mame romlist (mame.txt) that has been generated with catver.ini, here is a example listing:

m4tenten__aj;10 X 10 (Barcrest) (MPU4) (set 47);mame;m4tenten;199?;Barcrest;Fruit Machines;1;;;preliminary;0;
Isn't the category for the above listing Fruit Machines?

Another example Im having problems with is filtering a list down to manufacturer:

Rule:  Atari
target: Manufacturer
comparison: contains
filter value: atari

That comes up with zero games too.

The only filter Ive been able to apply successfully is by year.  I'm sure im missing something, I appreciate your help and patience.

raygun:
I have no idea how catver organizes casino games, but yeah looking at your list there is clearly a Fruit Machines category.

Make sure you have the case correct in your filter values. If your list has capital A Atari in it the rule value needs to be capitalized too.

Mmmbacon:
Bam! You, my friend, are the man.  It was simply a case situation. Once again Ive successfully defended my noob crown!

Seriously though, thanks for  your input and help. I'm really diggin Attract Mode and use it as my go to front end now. Thanks for your hard work....
