Second or third rom folder?
« on: October 07, 2020, 05:08:40 PM »
hi!

i have my attract mode already configurated with a ton of system
but i decide to just make one list with selected games of each platform
so my question is

is there a way to put a second folder to search for roms?

for example if i have mame and his roms folder can i add a second one with MUGEN for example so in that way my mugen games would be added to the mame games.

i know i could put a different extention with BAT or lnk for example but i dont want that because i have filter already my mame rom directory and if i scan the entire stuff again all the game of the romset would be added.

anyone know a workaround with this?

1. create a master list or combined list http://forum.attractmode.org/index.php?topic=1165.msg8455#msg8455

2. "Tag" the games you want in your special list (or use Favorites)

3. User a filter or global filter to display only the games you have tagged (or use Favorites)

well i follow your advice and i dont know why but it put together all the systems EXCEPT MAME.
even if i put YES in the entire emulator list to generate the master list.

Can you properly generate just a mame.txt list? Make a backup of the mame.txt list before tying. If you can't then you need to adjust some settings in you mame.cfg emulator file.
