path problems
« on: October 20, 2016, 04:46:42 PM »
still having problems telling AM where the path's are.

i used terminal, finder etc, no dice

this is the roms folder tossed into terminal:

/Volumes/Iomega_HDD/Vintage\ Games\ Roms/____MAME___/SLD_mame0146-64bit/roms

if i copy that into the setting/emulator/rompath and try to do generate a list it says 'path not found'.

help!

What Operating System are you using? If you have spaces in your file path use quotes.

"/Volumes/Iomega_HDD/Vintage Games Roms/____MAME___/SLD_mame0146-64bit/roms"

Maybe you simply should replace spaces in "Vintage Games Roms" with underscores.
I'm using long paths on mac without any issues - but I don't have spaces in path.

If you are determined to have spaces in "Vintage Games Roms" - maybe you should try the underscore just to check if this is the only problem.
