To the OP, I'm happy with attractman on the crt.
Regarding the GBS 8100. It made my arcade monitor look exactly like the old tube television we had in the mid 80s. Amazing for music videos, but crap for arcade games. I was using a PC and not a rpi, but I don't know why it would be different for this.

Thank you for doing this. It's exactly what I looking for, but I can't get it to work. I extract the file, put the folder in the the layouts folder and installed the font. Anything I'm not doing?

These are my romlists for those 3 systems using a full set of mess 149 roms. They all play in mame 171 with no issues, so I assume the names haven't changed. I made the lists with release candidate 3 and used the xml files from this link:

You'll need to rename the lists to match the name you gave you mame 171 before adding it to your romlist folder. I think this will work, but if it doesn't let me know.

Themes / No Gamelist/ Wheel in Hyperspin Themes

I'm trying to use a few of the hyperspin themes, but so far only Daphne has a game wheel with wheel art. The other displays simply show snaps and but not the wheel. I would actually prefer not to use the wheel art and only show the text of the titles with the various fonts set for the theme. I am only using default system themes and not using themes for individual games.
Also, where does the hyperspin nut go? I can't figure it out so I just have them in lots of folders. I would rather just put the one where it is supposed to go.

Emulators / Anyone have Dice working in AM?

I'm trying to get this to go, but I have limited knowledge on how most of this works and it's not on the list of emulators.
To run a game from command line, all I do is go to the directory and type dice followed by the name of the game. If you aren't familiar with dice, it's emulating circuits and I don't think it uses roms the way most emulators do. Half the games don't even have roms, so I can't make the gamelist from the roms folder.
Does anyone already have this running? Any ideas?

I updated to 2.0 as the first attempt to fix, but I think it may be related to my romset. A lot of the missing videos are roms where I have a full version of the US rom and no parent rom. For example, Alien vs Predator didn't come through. I don't have the rom avsp.zip. I only have avspu.zip. I don't know if that matters, but that looks to be like it might be part of it. I did download avsp.mp4 directly from progetto and AM uses the video without needing the parent rom.
I've pulled the videos I care about from an old set, so I'm fine. But if you want me to try anything or take a closer look, I'm willing to help.

General / Mame Video Artscraper stops at 42%

Hi all, I've been using AM with screenshots for a while and I thought I'd give the video scraper a try. It downloaded 2526 videos and then gets stuck at 42%. I was wondering if anyone has had an issue like this or if there is a known solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.
