« on: March 25, 2020, 09:38:51 AM »
Hello to all,

I'm triing to configure PCSX-Reloaded on Attract Mode and i don't know why it's not working.

It's like not recognize the working directory, and did not load preferences from pcsx :(

My cfg
# Generated by Attract-Mode v2.5.1
#
executable           "C:\EMULADORES\PCSX-r\pcsxr.exe"
args                 -loadbin -nogui -cdfile "[romfilename]"
workdir              "C:\EMULADORES\PCSX-r"
rompath              C:\ROMS\ISOsPSX
romext               .iso;.bin;.mdf;.img;.zip;.ecm
system               Sony Playstation
info_source          thegamesdb.net
exit_hotkey          Joy1 Button10

Thanks for the help :)

BR,

Mike Hawk

PCSX-R is the best choice if you want to play 3D games at higher resolutions. If you encounter glitches or you're emulating a 2D game, use Mednafen instead. However Windows version is currently unmaintained and has inferior feature set, so if you are on Windows ePSXe may be better.

PCSXR was used for an official port and commercial re-release of N2O: Nitrous Oxide on Steam on June 29, 2015.
I've been going through this game clash royale strategy deck and find that some levels can be very challenging. It took me a few days to get out of one specific level.

josan_86 might want to try and post in the emulators thread as well...

you can get this emulator to work on it's own without attract mode right?

also I take it you are using windows?

well I could not even get it to run by itself..so I am not help here sorry....

I would ask though..if there a reason you have/want to use PCSX-R over a retroarch core like bettle-psx? PCSX-R seems to be outdated...and plug in based emulators are a pain to set up as well....
