can I have one marquee for all games

Probably a noob question, but can I have one marquee for all games of a system, like genesis for example? I want to display only Sega Genesis in the nevato theme. Do I need to have the same image for every rom I have in my list or is there a default one I can use? thanks a lot!

I think attract mode will default missing artwork for a rom to artwork matching the system name. I noticed that if I have a missing marquee, it will show neogeo.png in my marquee path. My setup is neo geo only, so I am not positive. Try adding png with the name of what you call your sega genesis system in the config and let us know if it works.

With my NEVATO theme you can put your system marquee in theme folder and rename it to match your emulator like this:
emulatorname-marquee.jpg 
[ snes-marquee.jpg, mame-marquee.jpg, etc ]

so if your emulator name is sega your file should be named sega-marquee.jpg

And the you should set in theme options that you want your marquee to display gaming system logo

UPDATE:

I've just checked
I've included gaming system marquees in NEVATO download pack - you just have to change the marquee related theme option.
Of course you can change that for your own marquee, just name it appropriately.
