Hi,
Here is the HyperPie Cinematix theme which is used for the main menu in our RetroPie image project. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1158678304181964/

You can get all the video snaps for the different systems from the Emumovies FTP (requires membership)
The video themes are made by members of the HyperPie project and some used with permission from James baker and Critical Cid.
The art is located in these folders on the Emumovies FTP:
/Upload Here/Project HyperPie Updates
/Official/Project HyperPie
The theme is really simple and made to play 720P 30 FPS videos without stuttering. There's a bunch of layout options for you to tinker with.
I don't have a capture card so here is a link to someone showcasing HyperPie:

Here are some of the snaps I made:

We have also converted over 2000 game specific HyperSpin themes to 720P 30 FPS to be used with this theme on the Pi.

And finally we have also converted almost all of the HQ snaps from 60 FPS to 30 FPS so that they run well in Attract Mode for the Pi. All this stuff is on the Emumovies FTP.

That Hyperpie intro video is pretty cool. Is it actually available to download anywhere? As I can't seem to find mention of it anywhere.

It's on the emumovies FTP or you can find it in this update pack:

Wow that's a... lot of large downloads. Does "HyperPie Update Pack 1.01 (1.95gb)" contain it? As it seems recent and is one of the smaller ones.
EDIT: Ah, they're behind AdFly links. Nevermind.

Ooh, found it. For anyone else wondering, the animation in the background is Retrowave by Florian Renner - http://www.florian-renner.com/retrowave

If you want to see more system videos we have setup a new group on facebook which is only for content creation (themes, wheels, snaps, videos etc.)
Feel free to join if you want to contribute:

I use the Hyperpie Cinematix on my PC, to launch my emulators, but there is something I do not know how to do.
Would it be possible to launch directly from this topic in Attract Mode an application like DBGL.exe (Dos Box Game Launcher)?
What code should I use?
Thank you.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! Thanks so much for this :D
One question though....
I've been tinkering with the .nut file to adjust to my preferences, however I can not get the wheel images to preserve aspect ratio. Some are squished horizontally and I'd like them to be displayed as is.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

what if you add as a emulator? Create a empty bat file which is the rom, just thinking out loud,
I did itfor Spotify.exe and it works no problem. Basically the emulator is Spotify.exe and the rom is a empty .bat file or any empty file...

Hi guys, take a look at the HyperPie2 theme. It contains layouts for full screen video as well. In the layout options of the display you can select which of the .nut files you want to use and there are three different full screen video themes. Curved wheel, Vertical wheel and List box. They all maintain the aspect ratio for the wheel logos.
Thanks,
Carl
