Title: 9:16 Theme
Post by: bionictoothpick on July 10, 2020, 06:03:02 PM
Anyone working on a 9:16 theme?

I thought maybe with the Vertigo cabinets and more people using the rotated tv for custom cabs they'd get more variety here...

I know this one is under development: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja4X1PtfbkQ

Well don't know if you like the style, but my Arcadeflow theme fits on vertical displays, attached a sample in 9:16 (don't mind the black bars, they are there because my monitor is actually 16:10)...

It does look clean. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

It looks great at 9:16. I don't have the game info and stuff updated at the moment.

You don't see game data in the main interface, or you don't see "overview" data in the game history page? If you want to share a screenshot maybe I can help you fix that...

Maybe I just need to scrape some info?

It seems you don't have romilst info: from the screenshot there's no description of the game, but there's no game year or manufacturer either. If you are using MAME as an emulator set it up like this: go to Attract Mode menu (TAB), then emulators, mame, set Info Source/Scraper to listxml and additional information files should point to your catver.ini file. Then regenerate the romlist, this should fix the game data missing. For the game overview go in the Arcadeflow options menu (go "UP", then select Layout Options), scroll down to the History section, you will find there options to enter the history.dat and command.dat file.

I'll take a look. I'm using retroarch at the moment.
