Title: Please how i use the filter today?? MAME and 4players???

I use MAME 229 but i dont can make filter 4players...

Please help here.. Thanks!!  ;)

set controls for filter > set filter for : Players > set filter equals : 4

And dont work.. Why?

Does your romlist contain a column for Controls?

your filter is wrong. have a look to your romlist:

in my case:
C:\attract\romlists\mame.txt

#Name;Title;Emulator;CloneOf;Year;Manufacturer;Category;Players;Rotation;Control;Status;DisplayCount;DisplayType;AltRomname;AltTitle;Extra;Buttons
carpolo;Car Polo;mame;;1977;Exidy;Action;4;0;dial,dial,dial,dial;preliminary;1;raster;;;;

see column of Control : dial => can't be 4
see column of Players : 4 => that's it

setting Controls in AM to filter:
Start AM > press TAB key > Controls > Set a Button to 'Next Filter'

Yes, it's wrong.
not Control => Players
Players equals 4
then press button for 'Next Filter' till games are shown.

one thing:
use 'Add filter' instead 'Global Filter'.
there exist games with 6 Players. with 'Global Filter' they are not shown.
so add one filter each number of players:
one rule for : Players equals 4
one rule for : Players equals 6
and so on
