zpaolo11x any chance you could upload the latest version of your theme to google drive or anywhere else? For some reason the link to your site won't work for me and it always times out, thanks in advance!

Hello everyone!

I am currently modding the entire stock image of HyperPie2 and just wanted to show off my build so far. I am using photos instead of videos and have set it up so it can pull multiple pictures per channel. This way it kind of always keeps it fresh (=

I have also made some themes based off the Ol Room in the past as well as several others and will post a video in the future when everything is complete (=

There is a short video included if you would like to see how it runs. Please read the video description for more details.
Thank you for any nice comments etc!

Thanks mahuti for the tip. I went ahead and modified them and came up with a color based on sampling a screenshot. I think it should be good for now (certainly better than white) thanks again... If I make any changes / updates to other themes I will be sure to post those for anyone who may be interested.

Thank you! I 100% agree and planned on doing that already. I just wanted to get some finished and go back to fix any imperfections etc. When I make new ones / an updated pack I will be sure to include it. Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I made a couple more themes based on the Old Room theme posted earlier and some other additional ones as well. I am currently running them on a Raspberry Pi 3 and they should be good to go. Just drop them into your layouts folder and pick from the Display menu. I hope someone else out there may enjoy one / some of these ( = I will be sure to share any updates / changes / new themes I make in the future!

Small preview below of a couple included themes.

.Thx Cobra83. Funny thing is, i made a fireworks in tokyo theme last week, just didnt post it because i wanted to try to redo it with higher quality video. Ive change several things last night in the layout.nut first thing being the wheel coding. It was very sluggish. I also moved around game title and other things. I will upload when done if you are interested

Yup, that would be awesome and is much appreciated!

RetroKenesis thank you!

The videos in the window part of yours are very cool. I think maybe some fireworks exploding outside would be nice...or something like shooting stars (=

Great work though.

If / when I make updates etc I will notify the forums.

progets,

Thank you sooo much for a quick reply! I was trying to follow a tutorial online and if I am not mistaken that is what it called for. I will be sure to change it to a single / if need be and test it.

Is there any chance you would know how to set up the temp folder to get written to my external hd as opposed to the sd card how it is working now?

That would be a huge help as I can see it already stored 1 GB in the temp folder under a different folder labeled rarfolder0000, rarfolder0001, rarfolder0002 etc all the way up to a rarfolder0023....all of these seem to be holding pictures from the comics I looked at and I realized this is why I seemed to be losing some space.

Again thanks for the quick response! I seriously appreciate it and any other help/advice to get it working so my SD card wont fill up and I can always keep it going to the HD for the pics it generates from looking at comics etc.

I am curious if this looks correct?

<advancedsettings>
 <pathsubstitution>
  <substitute>
    <from>special:/home/pi/.kodi/temp/</from>
    <to>/media/usb0/temp/<to>
   </substitute>
 </pathsubstitution>
</advancedsettings>

Hello everyone! I am using Floob's attract mode build for my Pi3 and everything works excellent.

I made a advancedsettings.xml to store my Thumbnails on my external and everything seems to work fine and they appear on the drive.

Can someone PLEASE help me with storing my temp folder as well? I noticed after looking at several of my comics that they were taking up a lot of space in the temp folder and I would love to move that over to the external like I did with my Thumbnails folder...

The thing I need is the exact address I am supposed to write in the xml file. I cant seem to get it to work and nothing show up in the temp folder I made....

For the Thumbnails file I made it look like this:

advancedsettings>
 <pathsubstitution>
  <substitute>
    <from>special://profile/Thumbnails/</from>
    <to>//media/usb0/Thumbnails/</to>
   </substitute>
 </pathsubstitution>
</advancedsettings>

Please post how to correctly point to the temp folder as well, thank you very much for any help!

I will release the ones I made here if anyone is interested in using them. Right now I have been trying to fix other issues / clean up the library with proper art etc, alter some of the nut files to better suit the box area etc.... and have taken a break at the moment from the themes. I will be sure to share them with you all though! (=

Hello everyone.

I modified the psd files that were posted and went ahead and made my own custom rooms. So far I have made NES, PS1, Sega CD, TG-16 & TG-16 CD.

I have been using them on my Pi 3 and am pleased how they came out. I plan on possibly swapping out the tv / desk and maybe some other modifications but so far I enjoy them. Here are some screenshots. Please let me know what you think. I will also be sharing with those who may be interested in using them in the future. Thanks!

NES

PS1

Sega CD

TG-16 CD

TG-16

Has anyone done any other Consoles?
I have the NES, Master, Mega, N64, 32x and SNES ones that were created.
How about 2600, tg-16, or maybe some handhelds?

This stuff is awesome!

I'm making a Sega CD, TG-16, TG-16 CD and PlayStation room. Thank you again for the creators of the original file and for posting the PSD.
Not exactly sure when I will be done...I will share though when I finish them!
