Yeah, ideally I'd like to add the correct custom mame bezel to each video, but I'd be happy with some sort of scrolling background for starters.  I've tried messing with it myself, but I always end up with a black screen.

Well it's a 16x9 monitor so 4x3 video will have black bars on the side.

I was wondering if someone had made a screensaver.nut with the ability to add a background image or a generic bezel overlay.  It would be nice to have this rather than just black bars on the side.

Yeah, I had tried admin and that didn't work.  I've tried several other games now and for some reason only have trouble with ikaruga and SFIV.  SFV works fine though so I'll just go with that.   Kind of weird attract mode has trouble launching a few games though.

Cuphead runs fine, but SFIV gives me an error message

Failed creating the Direct3D device.

Ikaruga also having same issue.

Both SFIV and ikaruga load fine by clicking the same shortcut from the desktop

Having the same issue on two different pcs.  One has nvidia, the other AMD.  Both windows 10.   Tried with a fresh attract mode install.  Same issues.

I'm ordering a 3 ghz quad core.  Would this have any trouble running the .200 core with shaders and bezels?

I decided I wasn't getting the performance I wanted out of the Pi so going to use a PC for my arcade cabinet. I got about 4 different romsets for the PI as it seemed you needed to do that due to performance issues, but since I'm going to PC I was thinking it would be ideal to just use one if possible. I was planning on using retroarch. Mame 2010, 2014? Is advancemame still needed to emulate vector graphics or do the later regular version of mame do that properly?
