Password on setup screen?

If this has already been answered, I apologize, but I could not find it.
Anyway, is there any way to put a password on the attract mode setup screen?
I would like to have the choices on that screen password protected, to keep my grand kids from accidentally changing things.

I know this isn't the answer you where after but have you tried setting setup to an unusual button combo to prevent them accessing it eg a + b + down and start?

Hi there,

While I haven't tried it for a while, you could also use the included KonamiCode plugin to assign a sequence of keypresses to bring up the display... i.e up,up,down,down,B,A.... you could make that the only way to get to the config screen

Retain the normal tab button signed to setup. Purchase a wireless keypad and keep it stored for when you need it. Problem solved.
