General / Crash when switching from main menu and emulator

Hello,
When I switch several times from the main menu (using cosmo-theme) and an emulator (sega megadrive) for example, but happens on several... it does not crash on others.
To reproduce it, I launch AM, the open the megadrive emulator, then 'esc' to go back to main menu, then 'megadrive' again ->crash.
perhaps a video or other resource problem ? is there a way to debug this with a log or something.
I'm on windows 7 pro/64bits.

Hello,
I try to access the nightly builds on https://build.btolab.com/project/attractmode/

unfortunately, I have alway the "502 Bad Gateway" error message.
I have tried with several internet connections, even on my 3G mobile cell phone.
Same Error.

Do you have the same issue ?

Hello,

I've got a scummvm emulator which is correctly configured to launch my scummvm games.

Code: [Select]

# Generated by Attract-Mode v2.2.1

executable           scummvm
args                 -f -p [rompath][name] [name]
I want to launch a particular game without these args, but by using a custom sequence.

For example, in my scummvm romlist, for "monkey" I want to launch "c:\example\monkey.exe"

Is it possible to create a dedicated configuration file just for "monkey" ?

Same for me.
+1 for text of game instead of ARCADE graphic is no wheel is present.

It would be very useful. It's difficult (impossible?) to get all the wheel pictures...

Or, maybe, instead, if the wheel picture is not found, display instead the marquee....better than nothing...and usually the marquee contains the title of the game.

Thanks. When I say "List", in fact I mean "display". Just a translation problem with my french.

So, For example I create 2 displays (same theme, but different romlist).
With some keys, I can move from a display to another, but in this case, beside the total number of roms displayed, I cannot see what is the current display.

I just see the "display name" is displayed in the "cools" theme, in the bottom right.

Hi,

I'm using since several weeks now this great program. I really love it ! simple, efficient and reliable...Congratulations for it!

I'm currently using Robospin theme and I wonder if it is possible to display somewhere (even in plain text) some additional infos, for example :
- name of current list
- name of current filter
- current letter when browsing game letter by letter (sometimes with the wheel pictures, it's not easy to find what is the current letter).

Ok found it. After some investigation, it seems the crash happens in ig7icd32.dll, which seems related to my intel graphics card.
I try to uninstall the driver and install a new one.
Problem solved ! 

I can't explain why it crash only in Roboskin, and not in others layout. But anyway, It's solved !

I'm using AM 1.5.2 (32 bits) on win7pro

step to reproduce it :
1-Launch AM
2-Esc then confirm quit : Ok no problem

1-Launch AM
2-TAB -> General -> language -> change to any value (it works with any settings)
3-validate on "back" then "back" again to main menu : crash

in the debug windows, I see, just before the crash :
loaded layout : c:\attract\layouts/robospin/ (layout.nut)
then nothing else.

Hello,
I have installed the latest version of robospin.
I now have an issue with it. Everytime I quit AM after editing any settings, AM crash.
If I do not open the settings menu, AM quit normaly.

As long as I modify anything in settings, it crash at 100% when quitting.

I have test with attracman and there is no crash. So it seems to be related to robospin.

It is not blocking, but if anybody has an idea ? I am with windows 7x64. I have test AM32bits and AM64bits and the crash is the same.

Also, there is nothing in the debug screen during the crash.

Great theme... I'm new to AM, but the more I discover it, the more I like it ! And themes like this one make me forget about all others frontend...
