Title: Attract Mode Windows 10, game list not appearing
Post by: matt@matthewshaw.net on September 27, 2018, 07:07:43 AM

So I recently set up Attract Mode, looks brilliant. But I am having an issue that is confusing me.

So I have 5 or 6 emulators configured, but when I go to the Game Gear list, no games appear. It is all configured fine, and the roms are listed in the gamelist.xml. This also happened on 2 or 3 other emulators, which I have since deleted, to be added back again later

Also, I have some Mame games, I renamed the roms to make them display better in AM, and now some of them do not launch, should I rename them back ???

Thanks
Matt

Are your games are listed in your romlists too?
found under your_attract_folder\romlists\your_display_name_of_your_emulator_system.txt

If they exists, try to generate your romlist again :
start AM > press TAB key > Emulators > your_display_name_of_your_emulator_system > Generate Collection/Rom List

Your mame problem:
same folder > there is a difference between, the name of game in romlist (name) and the name of romfile on data platform of windows (title).

Hi

Thanks for the help, but as I mentioned in my first post, the romlist file looks fine

I have since removed the game gear emulaotr, to be added again later. The Sge Megadrive emulator is now playing up, just as the Game Gear did

romlist file is fine, but not displaying any items.......

This is a definite bug

Post you emulator.cfg and romlist.txt for Game Gear and Sega Mega drive. Also let us know the location of these roms and what file extensions these roms use.
