Title: Random Intro Video
Post by: Nicodemus on July 15, 2016, 12:16:10 PM: Is there a way to have Random Intro Videos play on startup? I thought it would be a cool idea to play a random video game commercial from the past at every startup. I have looked through all the settings and have found nothing. I currently run Attract Mode on my Raspberry Pi 3. Thanks :)

Hard to believe that super out of date maximus arcade has this feature but AM does not.

Also if not tooooooo much trouble do the same for wheel sounds so when selecting next/previous game you can get randoms? i got lie 145 sounds in my sounds folder lol Some people hate that feature in Hyperspin but i like it haha.

You say that you're using a Pi but not how. If you are using RetroPie, you can disable the AM intro and enable the RetroPie intro (a.k.a. splashscreen) and run its randomizer. This will still allow you to boot directly to AM but also have the random videos you want.

@keilmillerjr - I think your idea of bringing this directly to AM is a great plan!

What code do you use for the wheel?

That would be "Previous Game" and " Next Game"

I'm running Attract mode on PC so i don't think there's a randomizer option in AM

Pushed to github around 2am today. Will add 16:9 videos during week, take another look to make sure I have nothing I left out, and then mark it v1.0.0. I did code it really late at night, but it works.
