CRT problems
« on: December 11, 2015, 03:28:38 PM »
I probably should post this on Klov but hey I'll give it whirl anyway. Anyone have experience with sharp image or CRT chassis in general? I just put a new cap kit on my sharp image si-727r-ds chassis to fix a horizontal width problem. The good news is the shotgun approach fixed the width collapse but now I can't get the picture to fill the full screen. I tried adjusting the width trim pot but nothing happens. All the vertical adjustments work fine. I ordered a new 5k trim pot for the width adjustment to see if that helps. If that doesn't work I guess it could be the B+ adjustment. But, I'm not sure what the correct voltage should be, though I'm guessing somewhere in the 109 v range. Anyone else have experience with CRTs?
