what's the extension of your rom-files (e.g. smc, bin)?
AM Version : 2.6.1
Input : Mad Catz Brawlstick; Mouse; Keyboard; Xbox360 Wireless
Cabinet : Yes
OS : Windows10 Pro
System : Dell Precision T3500 ; Intel X5650 ; 12GB RAM

If you are referring to the MAME roms (actually MESS bioses) you just have to remove the "roms" from your folder and then rebuild your list. I had a script/batch file that would do that...some where floating around on here...i'll see if I can find it or get one to you.

Hello:

So AM cannot remove or hide a rom listed in a list? What about the NEOGEO bios file that is needed for all NEOGEO games on mame? Will that be forced to stay in the list because it is needed in the MAME roms folder?

Thank you,
BC

You can add a rule in display global filter with "title" "does not contain" BIOS.
This will list all roms that does not have BIOS in their title.
You can also add more than one filter value e.g. (NEOGEO)|(BIOS).
