Next in line will be... SG-1000, Neo Geo MVS, WonderSwan Mono and Color, MSX, ZX Spectrum, Amiga, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC. Then i could make some suggestions but i will make something better. I will publish some template layouts so everyone can make his own layouts with a little knowing of photoshop.

Love it man!! Are any of these on the roadmap (PSP minis, FBA, SG-1000, N64 or Super Famicom, Mega Drive Japan)? I have a questions regarding the .nut file. In your screenshots  (Atari 2600 for example) there is no grey box behind your title but in mine download I have this grey box behind the Atari logo. What do I need to delete in the .nut to make it disappear?

a grey box? check if you have the marquee option enabled in the layout options. Or take a capture or a photo and upload it here.

I will upload SG-1000 and N64 in the next days.

Sorry to hear that. Frankly, i don't know how can i help. Maybe it's something related to the resolution of your screen? my layouts are optimized for a 16:9 screen (specially for full hd) but they 'should' work in other resolutions. To tell the truth, i'm not the greatest expert in coding layouts. I'm just good at photoshop and self-taught to understand 'what' the code does (i have experience with xml files and it's not so different once you understand the functions).  It's just omegaman's robospin code. It could have some weird bug but i don't know ???

Try opening a thread in general and tell your problem. Maybe someone could tell what is going on.

If it's working fine in one pc and it doesn't in another, i would say it could be some problem with your attract mode, not the layout, but i'm not sure. Try first what i've said and we'll see.

Hi, it's the one i made in this thread http://forum.attractmode.org/index.php?topic=1300.0 ?

It's kinda weird the issue you talk about.  :P I usually test them in windows 10 and on my raspberry pi. I'm not sure if you are talking about the background (wallpaper) or the art (the tv, console, etc) but i will try to help. Try this:

-Redownload the file in case it was somehow corrupted
-make sure the files bkg.png, bkg2.png, robo.png and robo2.png are on the main folder of the layout
-in attract mode, go to options/displays/ and select the display in which you are using the layout. Make sure you have selected robospin-megadrive as the layout of the display.
-then go to 'layout options' and search the following options...
-in 'select bg image or panscan'... it should have 'blue' or 'retro' selected. change it if not.
-in 'select cab skin' it should have 'megadrive' or 'genesis' selected. change it if not.
-If it still doesn't work post here the layout.nut code and it'll look it, but it's kinda weird.

Hey Cosmo,

Im noticing that the pointer sizes just all around in difference sizes in your layouts. I know its sounds like im being nit-picky but how would you recommend editing the layout.nut's so they all show up the same size?

that's related to the size of the pointer.png files. Some are bigger than others. You can resize them in photoshop, gimp, etc...

then search for this line in layout.nut

local point = fe.add_image("pointers/pointer.png", flx*0.90, fly*0.34, flw*0.2, flh*0.35);

flx. is the position in the x axis (horizontal) it should be ok with a 0.88 - 0.91 range. flw* is the width of the image, some look ok with 0.2, some with 0.1

attract mode in pc make testing easier.

I'll finally have some free time this week, so expect more layouts in next days.

Your layouts are easily my favorites and I am slowly replacing all of my current layouts to yours as you release them. Thanks!!!! Do you have plans for a Nintendo Famicon Disk System, Sega SG-1000, Atari 7200 and Sega CD? I feel like they are always neglected for great layouts like yours.

I have plans to cover almost all systems that i need for my retropie, so yes. Then i could make some suggestions. In fact, most of them are almost finished but these days i can't past much time in front of my pc, so i'm realeasing them one by one. I hope i can have a bit of time in a few weeks.

p.d: well, i'm not sure if i'm going to make layouts for mame. I think that neon arcaderoom its perfect just as it is.
