I may have found a way to do it. It looks like the "last game" info is stored in attract.am. I cannot edit this but if I make it read only after closing with the game I want to autostart all is good. Any negatives to making attract.am read only?

Im trying to figure out how to get attract mode to autostart a certain nes game every time I turn on the system. Im using the mesen emulator and I currently have attract mode set to launch last game. Im trying to figure out how attract mode knows what the last game is then find a way to lock it to the game I want.  I thought it might be the last_run.log file but changing that does not seem to do it. Anyone have any ideas?

About a year ago I started using the attract mode with the robospin theme in my arcade legends cabinet. Its working well but I get alot of people playing it that know nothing about arcades and I wish there were a way to show what buttons each game used like the arcade legends/ ultracade system did. I found CPwizard and I think I can use it to create a button layout image or gif im just not sure how to make the image show up/ play after a rom is pressed and stay on screen until a button is pressed. Is this possible?
