Any chance of a new Windows binary?
« on: February 09, 2015, 03:13:31 PM »
I designed a custom layout using the latest version of the app from Github. Of course this fails on my Windows machine because the 1.4 version of Attract Mode doesn't support the new layout syntax yet.

As I haven't been able to successfully cross-compile a new Windows binary (see https://github.com/mickelson/attract/issues/108), would it be possible to release downloadable binaries for version 1.5 (or label it as an alpha if necessary) by any chance?

FWIW, I was able to get the cross-compile to work, so I have a working Windows executable for the latest version of Attract Mode now. No need to release a new binary for my sake.

Still, this could be useful for others that would like to create custom layouts using the latest API.

Great that you got it working.  A new release should be ready soon, I have two more new features I want to knock off first, but they shouldn't take much longer...
