LCD Theme for Attract-Mode 2.4
Version 08/2018
08/22/2018: Built-in Modules.
08/19/2018: Added the liquid8d's keyboard-search module.
Designed for All Systems
It carries:
- 42 Icons for the categories or genres of games.
- 15 Animated Markers (and one static: Frame).
- 137 System Logos.
Essential:
You do not need to use any Attract-Mode module, the ones you need already have them incorporated.
You can choose:
- Set the selector type: arc wheel, vertical wheel, list, listbox or all randomly.
- Select the animated marker of the list: Frame, Bub, Cacodemon, Donkey, Imp, Lara, Marco, Mario, Megaman, Pac-man, Radiation, Rayman, Spiral, Sun, World, Ying-Yang or all randomly.
- Set the alignment of the lists: left, right or centre.
- Set how to hide selectors: move or fade.
- Time of a wheels transition (in milliseconds).
- The time(in milliseconds) that it takes for the wheels and lists to hide. Set to 0 for not hide.
- Use marquees or show System in the up right lcd.
- Set Artwork above the icons frame: Flyers, Wheels or none.
- Use System Logos or not.
- Use the icons of the genres of games or not (the genre is always indicated with text).
- Set the icons laguage of the genres of games: english or spanish.
- Use scanlines in display screen or not.
- Display a clock with local time or not.
- The key to initiate a search.
- The search method.
With the 2.4 Attract-Mode version and above, customizing individually for each system (display).

The New Shuffle list moves a selector for all the list.
The selected game not is ever in the center of the list.
Sorry, i am spanish, my english is very bad. :(

First, have you chosen the correct layout? -> Spanish or English.
Second, have you chosen the LCD options in the Attract-Mode?

2-COPY layout_eng.nut to layout.nut (overwrite).
3-Setup the layout:
Open Attract Mode, pulse TAB, DISPLAYS, your system, LAYOUT OPTIONS, Select your options.
If you do not hit on it, I'll record a video... ::)

What screen resolution do you have?
By the screenshot it seems 4:3.
LCD theme is ready for 16:9.
You tell me and we see a solution.

Other people should also add their work to the thread. Might be a good idea to list modules required for layout that are not merged into the attract repo.

If you mean the animated ball that moves to the left of the list, it's simple.
Send me the GIF you want to include, and i'll adapt it to the theme.
It will be a new option:
Select pointer: frame or marker. 8)

It's a very big, excessive gif I would say.
One of 150x150 pixels would have been better.
It will look good, but it will consume many resources.
Depending on the computer, it is very possible that it will go slow.
Here in Spain, it's 03:10 AM, so I'm going to sleep.

Where attract.exe is, there must be a file last_run.log. In the same folder, delete files attract.am and script.nv.
Run AM, try the LCD theme, whatever works and what does not, then exit AM and paste the file last_run.log here.

The files that you have uploaded are those that must be deleted to reset AM. And I told you to erase them, not to raise them up.

According to the log, the LCDv2 has not been called by AM.
He has only called Reflect and Pandora 4.
You have to send me a log with calls to LCDv2.

I totally agree with you, and I had no intention of putting it, but it was a request from a forum partner. 8) And as you say, with not selecting it ... ;D
