« on: July 06, 2022, 11:37:06 AM »
THEA500 Mini...

Specs...
Alwinner H6
Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53 @ 1.8GHz
Memory   512 MB
GPU   Mali-T720 MP2 @ 600Mhz
It close to a Orange PI3
Only difference is its memory and it uses a nand.
You can run Retroarch 1.10.3 on it...?

A wise man once said, well actually I am typing it

It is better to learn from experience and become wise, rather than ask a fool a question, and becoming a fool themselves.

If you have the equipment, just give it a go, if you do not have the equipment but was thinking about buying it, then that is different.

Mark

OK thanks, I was manly worried about THEA500s 512 mb ram and if Attract Mode needed more...?, but I will not be using videos anyway, my plan was make a theme for it the same as THEA500 so you would not notice any difference.

You are talking gibberish to me and to other people who have not used whatever you are talking about lol

You saying about the interface etc etc, is like me saying about an interface for British TV that if you are in another Country, you might never see.

You really need to show a picture, and not assume that EVERYONE will know or understand what you mean.

As for 512mb, as I say give it a try and see what happens, however I would not consider using it based on my experience, even 8 gigs stalls it at times, but then I am more of a heavy user than wanting something light.

This is THEA500 Mini, it made by Retro Games Ltd who made THEC64 Mini, THEC64 Maxi and THEVIC20.

https://retrogames.biz/products/thea500-mini/

This is what its carousel looks like:

I am the creator of PCUAE, that you can run on them... https://github.com/CommodoreOS/PCUAE

All I want is a replacement to its carousel but make a theme in Attract Mode that the same as its carousel so very basic, so all I want it for is Amiga games and nothing else, no videos or anything, so you have a carousel wheel at the bottom with info on the game on the top left and 2 pictures of the game on the top right that it switches between them every 5 seconds, like THEA500 Mini's carousel.
