We invite you to try the latest beta release of the amazing PCCA layout!  8)
Currently in version 1.08 beta, the layout includes many improvements and bug fixes.
It now also includes it's own mod of the default screen saver (extras folder).

Version 1.09 beta of the PCCA theme is ready and includes built-in search functionality for systems without keyboards, fixes for swf flash based game themes (there are still a handful of themes that do not render 100% right but it's a small minority) and various bug fixes.

I can't say enough about the per game layouts (themes), they are great and make a very flashy appearance on any cabinet. So do the transitions and sounds. This is a truly a great layout for anyone that has run HS or wanted an HS like experience (especially if you don't run a Windows OS).

It's great that the search was added to this layout. For large collections it's a must have feature. I really like that every system has its own search buttons based off the HS letters which is a very nice touch and I've never seen before on AM.

You guys are on the right path and it looks great. There are still a few bugs like the start up wheel not showing all games and the search function having the same issue. I'm hoping that by version 2 this layout is a contender for my cabinet.

Thanks for the hard work.

when the wheel stops on a game it fades all except for the game/theme it is on. Is there a way to fade the game selection wheel with the rest of the wheel yet?

As our friend pcca-matrix is unfortunately not available for now, I have decided to release a MOD for the PCCA layout.
The aim of this MOD is to bring the layout even closer to the original hyperspin experience.

It includes:
- Bigger wheel logos size
- Pointer position can be set to normal (default) or minimal
- Pointer now fades with wheel
- Adjusted pointer animation
- I disabled the wheel logo popping animation for now as it creates an assortment of issues
- I changed some of the default layout options
- Cleaned the layout options menu

This version also includes pcca-matrix's latest addition in which you can place mp4 unified theme videos instead of original hyperspin game themes. This is useful when the original theme is not working properly (there are very few, for example: galaga and alien vs predator).

Download and Instructions on how to use:

Cheers,
Yaron

mp4 unified videos can now replace hyperspin themes with psychiatric issues!

A more hyperspin-compatible wheel

I am releasing what I consider as a 'Ready for Use' version of the PCCA layout in which I have changed the game info and main menu info presentation and font so it is more hyperspin compatible and more easy to read. I also rearranged the layout menu and added options. I am happy with the state of this project!

Hi kouta555,

PCCA uses identical path structure to that of Hyperspin. Your path is missing the 'Media' folder. Move your media to:
D:\HyperPC\Attract\layouts\pcca\my_themes\Media\Main Menu

and update the path in PCCA accordingly.
Tell me what you get

Still the same. But i find out that, if set this theme on clean attract, its working, but on mine base it has no effect. Maybe some my settings cause some kind of errors on PCCA. My structure looks like  Arcade, consols, handhelds, ect.  I need media folder with same names right? Ok, i made them, still nothing. And after changes my config file ruined, and Attract. exe stop to work :o so i think problem in my settings. i will continue diggin, whe find out, i let you know.

It is a known issue that few theme that include swf files don't work properly. It is caused by the implementation of flash in attract mode and is beyond the scope of the layout.
I have 2,862 mame game themes on my pc and about 1.7% of them don't work properly.
I replaced them with unified theme videos fro emumovies and there is very little difference.

All the best.

In AM filtering is managed directly through the frontend and it's one of its strongest features. You can assign a hotkey through AM to show and changes filters.
Press Tab->Controls->Filters Menu
