Hola yo hablo en español, y al igual que tu interesado en este frontend, y mas aun si es que se puede poner un menú principal con los systemas de emulación, espero que tengamos cosas por compartir, escuche de menu plugins para attrac mode pero no se como ni donde está?

Genial!! En si es posible y no necesariamente con plugins, aunque también depende de que tipo de menú de sistemas quieras hacer, ya que los layouts que vienen por defecto en Attract Mode incluyen un menú bastante simple.


Mientras tanto, esto es lo que yo pude hacer con lo que fui aprendiendo en todo este tiempo, no lo publique antes porque considero que le faltan cosas para terminarlo...

Hola amigo, como lograste crear un menu principal? me explico un menu para seleccionar el sistema (nes, snes, psx....) y otras aplicaciones como por ejemplo kodi.

Hola, esto lo publique antes de la actualización 2.2.0... ahora en esta actualización podes asignar un theme/layout para el "menu displays" (menu de sistemas). El proceso es el mismo a cuando asignas un theme/layout a algún sistema, ya que utiliza los themes que están dentro de la carpeta "layouts".

solving problems by using particular native speaking posts is the wrong way.

sourcecode, hosting of AM and all board threads ever are provided in english.

starting threads this way, there only a handfull people left that can helps => not good (if not understand spanish)

for example creating a new feature, plugin, theme or something and announce this => not good (if not understand spanish)

i'm learning by problems, requests and bugs of other users (and think another people too) => not good (if not understand spanish)

there is possibility of creating a poll (so you can see how many people speaks spanish) or creating a group on facebook

French? Why not? There is nothing wrong with that.

It is obvious that all the topics to be dealt with on different aspects of the frontend will be done in English and therefore everything new that has to be learned about the same is through this language. But I do not think this is an impediment to doing what I am proposing, since a Spanish-speaking person with enough knowledge to make a layout (for example), can teach without problem to another person who speaks the same language .

I understand what you want to tell me, but as I said before, personally I have no problems with English. I just thought it was a good idea to see how many Spanish-speaking people are in this forum, and then see if there is a chance to do something like what you said (create a poll or a facebook group).

Maybe there are not many people (probably just gucaza and me xD) but maybe this can serve as an incentive to more people know this frontend and if not, then there is nothing to do.

My intention is not to cause problems to the administrators of the forum, for nothing, just give an idea, nothing more.

Genial!! En si es posible y no necesariamente con plugins, aunque también depende de que tipo de menú de sistemas quieras hacer, ya que los layouts que vienen por defecto en Attract Mode incluyen un menú bastante simple.

Pero si lo que quieres es un menú mas al estilo de Hyperspin por poner un ejemplo, también se puede hacer algo sin plugins, pero seria mucho mas difícil de hacer a como normalmente se hace el menú de juegos. En lo personal lo noto algo limitado en ese sentido, aunque reconozco que todavía me falta aprender mucho.

Quizás si se pueden hacer mas cosas de las cuales yo por lo pronto desconozco, aunque justamente hoy vi un post de alguien que aparentemente logro solucionar este tema desde el source del programa (o al menos eso fue lo que entendí). Así que puede que en un futuro se pueda personalizar de manera mas sencilla el menú de sistemas, quizás similar a como se hace el menú de juegos, esperemos que sea así.

I do not have much problem with that, but I thought it was a good idea to do this since those of us who speak this language could work together more easily when it comes to doing things for the frontend. Besides, there is nothing wrong with it.

Yo en si no tengo mucho problema con eso, pero me pareció buena idea hacer esto ya que los que hablemos este idioma podríamos trabajar juntos de manera mas sencilla a la hora de hacer cosas para el frontend. Ademas no tiene nada de malo.

Hola como están? hace tiempo que sigo este frontend y desde que me registre en el foro hasta ahora no he visto ni un solo post en español, así que me pareció buena idea empezar uno para ver cuanta gente de habla hispana hay en el mismo.

Creo que esto podría ser de gran ayuda para los que hablamos este idioma, sino bueno... siempre está el traductor de Google :v jajaja

it can be done, i've been playing with displaying "Displays" as a menu, i've sort of lost my mojo coding it, but i will get back to it.. i think i was pushed in the right direction by the coder of arcade bliss theme...

shatshoes hello, excuse me, how did the Menu Displays? I am looking for ways of achieving something similar to add_artwork (eg "flyer", but the system) but so far I do not find way to achieve it. If Could you give me some guidance on how to do it, I'd be really grateful.
