is there a procedure to update the program without deleting the configuration?

Copy only exe files...

If you use RocketLauncher copy the rocketlauncher plugin from folder plugins (in AM 2.4.1).

actually just copy your config files and put them in new build. worked for me. but...... you might have to remap a few buttons. i had to redo my player and coin buttons. the rest stayed
