General / Help With Attract-mode running an ArcadeVGA card from ultimarc.
« on: November 19, 2023, 06:47:55 PM »
Hello, i have Atrractmode running fine on my PC. When i tried to install it on my mame cabinet that is using a Arcaadevga card for my CRT Monitor the wheel moves slowly. Could this be a video resolution problem? I hope i don't have to get rid of my card.

Thank for any help i can get.

General / Need help mapping buttons for exit??

Hello, I just installed hyperspin attract mode II. Picked it up at arcadepunks. Install went fine and everything is working. I't in my arcade cabinet that uses an I-Pac encoder. I just played MK3 and noticed that Player 2 button 3 (Q button i believe) exits the game when i hit it.?? I checked the settings and it doesn't have that in there, just escape button and Joy 0. How do i change this? Is there a config file somewhere i can modify?  I just want to play some head2head games on MK3. Everything else is fine.

General / Boot with headphones not HDMI problem
« on: September 17, 2022, 06:51:40 PM »
Hello, i just started getting into the retropie scene. I bought a Pi4 4gb model. I flashed a retropie image which has Attrctmode/Emustation on it. I set it all up using my tv with built in speakers. Everything works fine. The problem is when i swapped it all over to my arcade cabinet. My monitor doesn't have speakers so i put (2)4" speakers with an amp. I went into attract mode setting/ raspberry pie setup and changed HDMI to headphones.  When i reboot there's no sound again and i have to repeat the process all over again. Does anyone know what my problem is? Am i doing something wrong? Running retropie 4.8.

Thank you.

Scripting / Shutdown script help
« on: September 11, 2022, 05:28:48 PM »
Hello, i'm new to the retropie scene and just started playing with my Pi4. I have a few emulators working and decided that i will put this in an old arcade cabinet. My plan is to have 1 switch turning on and off with 1 button. I've tried a script and got it working but it only turns off the pi. When i hit the button again nothing happens.

I have the pi powered on with the pushbutton adapter that came with my cana kit. I would like to do away with that adapter power switch and have it with constant power so i can turn it on and off with another button. Is any of this possible?
