General / Attract mode SHELL START !!!

I open the registry and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon, I create a new string, and then again right - the string value and call it Shell, double left click and insert the path to the frontend It closed everything and reboot ... but I attract mode goes wrong and crashes all !!! When i try to invoke attract mode to sheller it says that language files cannot be load !!! You can help me ?? thank you

one way in ubuntu :
1) set an alias for attract (so it starts directly from shell with one command)
2) Click on Ubuntu-Button (Search your computer) > Startup Applications > Add > set name > set command (see step 1))

Hello, someone was able to put AM in the automatic start mode from shell ?? I have tried but can not find the English language and locks not charging anything more

you have to set the name of your emulator too (only activateing the plugin is wrong):
add name of your emulator (in my case zsnes)
Do you have this problems with another emulators too (white screen and still background run)?
i have not to set the name of my emulator...but i have insert the path non the name !!! :-( I try again and let you know, thanks for the help

« on: August 04, 2016, 03:23:33 PM »I have a very similar problem with daphne and AM 2.1 When I try and run a daphne game from AM, it runs fine (full screen, windows 10) and I can play, but when I try and exit with esc it quits daphne and looks like it returns to AM, but I have to hit Alt-Tab to have the front end work again. Any ideas on how to fix this. thanks
I also changed the attract.cfg to have yes in the hide_console option
Which are the funtionality for hide_console option
And where i can setting it ?Tks a lot

« on: August 01, 2016, 01:02:38 AM »Ok Nestopia allows to remap that insane "Escape for menu" behaviour. So I mapped escape to clean exit, and used Tab to show the menu in Nestopia.
Then I saw that snes9x default exit key is Alt-F4 anyways. So with that change my script should now exit all emulators cleanly apart from Mame.
This script it's ok for Daphne Emulator ??
