My problems on attract mode
« on: March 07, 2018, 07:47:58 PM »
Last day I was installing themes for hyperpie 2.
suddenly, I realised that hyperpie setup screen was empty, and nothing works in this setup screen.
My solution was started from zero point, reinstall attract mode on my microsd.

But I got a ugly problem, nobody deserves this problem :-\ hehe

The problem was setup extended HDd.
I never got problems with extended HD, works perfect and its very easy to setup.
just only get an NTFS hard drive, and a piroms directory on it, and that's it, that's all.
you connect HD to raspberry, ❨remember NTFS and a directory called piroms)press setup extended HD, and the program makes all the hard work.
then you only have to disconnect the hard drive from the pi and you will be able to transfer your roms to the external HD.

My problem was that the program doesn't found the piroms directory.
I was near to format the hard drive but the solution was to transfer all directories on the hard drive to just one directory.
I will explain you in another way.. its better have only two directories on your hard drive.
one the called piroms and the other your data.
otherwise its possible cannot find piroms directory.

my extended HD its 2TB. and I got two directories
piroms=550gbs
vengachaval=1TB

I hope this help someone

I don't understand your problem. Was the Pi mounting the drive correctly? There's a couple of extra steps to get it to mount NTFS drives properly, let me know if you need help with fstab or anything like that.

I'm not using a Pi, but I'm using Attract Mode under Ubuntu, and not having any problems.

Sorry, my english it´s like tarzan level, sometimes..
My problem was the amount of directories on the hdd.
Too much directories, caused a problem searching for the piroms directory.
I solved making only two directories on the hdd.
one file:piroms directory
the other file: the hdd stuff
