Any consideration on moving to another "host"?  Sourceforge seems to be getting worse and worse.

I'd certainly open to it but the price is right with sourceforge and I don't know of any other options... I hadn't noticed any other problems with the hosting before this most recent episode (which was rather alarming!).

I think that moving the forum is not worth the trouble in the first place. Better to spend that time on making AM even better.
But maybe some kind of SF independent off-line backup would be nice - if it is possible (or maybe already in-place).

And hey... thanks to that SF crash I've manage to catch up with some (real life) work :)

SourceForge has no choice but to get their act together now or they will cease to exist. Having an outage for over a week is more than alarming it's incompetence at the highest level. It should be next to impossible to have this kind of outage even with tech that is over 10 years old. Surely, RAID server farms are better now than ever, right? Something just doesn't add up. Maybe their own adware turned on them, LOL...  Just saying.
