Scraping Artwork causing crashes
« on: January 22, 2023, 08:46:28 AM »
Every time I scrape for artwork Attract Mode crashes. I have checked writing permissions ran it as Admin nothing seems to help I left it on 0 for an hour went to bed woke up 8 hours later and still at 0 and un-responsive. I am using TheGamesDB to scrape is that still viable? Any other options you would recommend that I use to scrape?

Is there a way to do this via command line so I can see an error output?

I've had similar issues with both scraping art and building ROM lists for the past several days. Mostly I get "None of the configured system identifier(s) are recognized by thegamesdb.net" and a total lack of metadata, but sometimes AM crashes. It was fine earlier this month. I assume something is affecting use of the API.

I figured it would pass after a couple days but it's starting to become annoying.
