launching it though homebrew would be even better. I bet that would take a lot of work though.

Has anyone installed linux on a jail broken wii, then installed A/M with retroarch? I would realy like to just turn on the wii and jump right into a/m.

I have figured out my problem. When I use the "exit hotkey" option in a/m it will not save progress. I was using start + select to exit. I had to map a button on my controler as escape and now it saves.

I'm just curious about how you are exiting mame. Do you have a button mapped as escape or are you using the "exit hotkey" option in a/m and using something other that escape.

I know this is old thread and I'm kind of wearing the subject out but I never know when to start a new thread. I finally got a chance to play around with the in game saves. Outside of A/M, Dolphin, Project 64, and Zsnes9 all allow you to save game progress as if you were actually using the console. Now if I open a game through A/M, only Dolphin and Project 64 will save, Zsnes will not. I know on some emulators clicking "x" will not save any configurations and they require you to go to file and them exit in order for input configurations to save. How does A/M close an emulator? Can you change the way it closes?

I would look up mame groups on Facebook. There is a lot of information on those and someone could probably point you in the right direction.

I ended getting a different pc. Windows 7 did not support my onboard graphics card so it was using a generic driver. I think that was my issue. Thanks for letting me know. Maybee this will help someone else too.

Is there any update on this. This is a pretty big deal to me. I was playing one my ps2 emulator and my game saves as if it was on the console. Sure would be nice if I could open the game through attract mode and have the same results.

Plus you will be able to save game progress just like you would on the console. you wouldn't have to rely on save states. When you don't want to use anything but a controller its hard to use save sates.

Can someone post their config file for the Atari Jaguar Phoenix Project emulator for Windows. I would greatly appreciate it.
