Currently I am trying to figure out how to launch steam and have AM running in the background. Similar to how launching a retroarch supported game, AM is still running in the background, and AM comes back upon quitting the game.

Is there a way to do the same for steam? I can't figure out the AttractMode\emulators emulator.cfg file.

Configure-->Emulators--><emulator_name>-->Non-Blocking Wait Mode = x
x = seconds to wait

The steam.exe doesn't launch after selecting.

In addition to the emulator steam.cfg file I created (is it even correct?), the romlist file is this line...not sure if that's correct. It isn't launching.

#Name;Title;Emulator;CloneOf;Year;Manufacturer;Category;Players;Rotation;Control;Status;DisplayCount;DisplayType;AltRomname;AltTitle;Extra;Buttons
Steam;Steam;Steam;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
