System Sub-menu

Any chance an option could be added for a system sub menu? This would allow you to choose a system/emulator first then I could setup multiple displays in one system. I know filters allow some of this but with a limited amount of buttons on some setups it would be easier for a sub-menu? Pretty Please?

I think this has been added in the the newer versions. I can not figure out where to begin in creating a sub-menu. for a "systems" menu. Can anyone help?
