Title: How to disable "the"-related sorting
Post by: firewater on December 07, 2018, 01:04:42 PM
I want the games to be sorted as they are literally called, no "Simpsons, The" stuff. For example, on PlayStation after "Grandia" I have "The Granstream Saga" - I'd like that to be placed on its place under T.

Redump and No-Intro both use the "Name, The" format, its pretty much the community standard these days.

If the actual rom name, which is also the magic token [Name], is in "Name, The" format you can change the [Title] and sort via [Title]. If the actual name is in "The [Name]" format (which you want) you can sort the romlist via [Name].

For choosing how to sort the romlist go to options > display > system e.g. playstation > filter > sort through [Name] or [Title]. Or open attract.cfg and change sort value for req. system to [Title] or [Name].
