General / Re: Setting up artwork in Attract Mode step-by-step
« on: August 11, 2017, 06:00:55 PM »
I am trying to get a background image to work for the Exit. I have show Exit enabled in the Displays Menu and it takes me to the command line which is what I want. I was able to get the art for the wheel and snap to display by placing in the menu-art folder. Tried placing the background in there but it does not work I have created the backgrounds folder inside of the menu-art folder. I also tried placing the images in different folders in my theme. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Cosmo's theme and everything is up to date.

General / Exit Attract Mode to Command line?
« on: July 20, 2017, 11:04:49 AM »
I have the Exit display setup and it takes me to the command line as it should. I want to disable this display and move the command into the Attract Mode Setup display. What code do I need to make this happen as I know the Reboot.sh
Code: [Select]
#!/usr/bin/env bash sudo reboot example reboots the system. What would I change the code to Exit to the command line so I can make an Exit.sh? I know where to place the file and how to update the rom list just need help with the command to make this work.

Themes / Can you put a background for the Exit attract mode?
« on: July 02, 2017, 03:58:05 PM »
I have been searching and trying to experiment but cannot find a way to make a background image show up when on the Exit button. I can change the Exit button via wheel art and can even add a snap. How can I make the background show up? Or is this just not possible?

I was wondering if anyone know's how to theme the EXIT page? Everything else looks amazing thanks to Cosmo's theme. I know I can change the EXIT wheel and even put a snap via the menu-art folder in attract mode. Any help would be appreciated.

General / Re: Favorites bug?
« on: April 15, 2017, 11:31:10 AM »
I am having an issue with Favorites as well. I have my list set and generated and everything displays. I want to remove a couple but when I hit the button I configured for Add/Remove favorite it wants to add it again. I have tried adding it then telling it to remove and then generate a new list and the game I want removed is still there. If I manually remove the items and send the favorites file back it is fine, but then when I try to add another game and generate a new list all the old ones that I manually removed reappear. not sure how to fix this any ideas?

I am running the latest version of everything as I ran a full update last night.

Hi I just compiled attract mode on my pi 3 running the latest version of retropie. Install worked and I was able to enter attract mode but am having difficulty with my emulator configurations.

They all appear to be correct and I put them in /home/pi/attract/config/emulators.

I deleted the default ones that were in that folder and placed the ones I have there. Rebooted the system and they do not show up in the emulator list. I have attached a few of my config files each is essentially the same just made the changes per system. Would really appreciate the help. Thank you  :)

Those files need to go in the /home/pi/.attract/emulators folder.

Thank you very much. Appreciate the help.
