Very nice! I really like the video-effect going on behind the window. Also, I was wondering, how were you able to make the layouts fade between the main menu and the systems menu? I haven't seen any information on this so far

Not 100% certain about this but you probably can't since launchbox/bigbox uses XAML to make themes, and attractmode uses Squirrel, an entirely different programming language, or at least from what (little) I've gathered. However, there may be some similarities between the two languages which could make it possible in the future? On a related note, you can use/port themes from hyperspin. I've seen it done before and there are some tutorials here on the forums on how to import hyperspin themes if you choose to do so. Hope this helps :)

As Progets mentioned, try using RocketLauncher. It's definitely a large task to set up, but it's very much worth it in the end. For me, it also makes setting up emulators easier since it uses modules which are often updated by the RocketLauncher community, and the fade screens are the icing on the cake :)

Yep, they're back online. For some reason the nightly downloads page doesn't work for me in internet explorer but it works fine in google chrome

Great work! I also have a 'fork' of this theme which I modified, but I really like how you implemented the extra effects into it. Although, I can't figure out how you get that extra game-info/video screen to pop up?

I'm far from being an expert on this subject but I have been playing around with some of the layouts in attractmode and customized them to my own personal preference. The subdirectories in the layout folders all have various purposes, depending on how the (original) designer put the layout together. For example, in my layout .nut file, I have this code:
//TV Background
local bg = fe.add_image("tv.png", flw*0.18, flh*0.270, flw*0.34, flh*0.470);

that means the "tv.png" is in the same layout folder (no subfolder) but if I wanted to, I could write the code like this

//TV Background
local bg = fe.add_image("images/tv.png", flw*0.18, flh*0.270, flw*0.34, flh*0.470);

In this case, the purpose and design is exactly the same, but that "tv.png" is not in the layout folder but it's now in a subfolder within it titled "images" which has been done to just to keep things a little more organized. This is a very very basic explanation but hope that it helps somehow :)

You should try downloading the latest version, which is 2.21
