Selecting console using Robospin?
« on: December 12, 2018, 08:13:50 PM »
Ok, apologies if this is answered elsewhere.  I searched and didn't find what I was looking for.

Here's what I'd like to do:  Have AM boot to a Robospin display that has the consoles in the wheel, for example, the icons for Atari 2600, Atari 5200, etc.  Select a console and have it go to that display.  Is this possible?  How do I set it up?

I'm working out the setup on the PC version, but I'll be moving configs, art, roms, etc to a Raspberry Pi using AM with Hyperpie once it's all ironed out.

Thanks!

1. Configure-->Displays-->'Displays Menu' Options-->Menu Style / Layout = Robospin
2. Configure-->General-->Startup Mode = Show Displays Menu
3. place images of your consoles (named the same as your Displays) into the /attract/menu-art/wheel folder

I think the console images will look small using the wheel in Robospin. You can try it and adjust the layout if needed.

AHA!  Perfect!

The second part was what I was missing.  It was set to go to the last one used.  You're a wealth of knowledge.  Thank you.
