Old onboard S3 graphics issue.
« on: August 24, 2016, 09:13:41 AM »
Hi anybody knows if AM has any incompatibility problems with old onboard S3 graphics?
I'm trying to make Attrack Mode in an old P4 cpu with an onboard S3 graphics and get a weird error, AM runs fine, everithing looks good until you change the emulator list, the list text turns a caos, and when i close AM i get an error, that points me to the S3 driver.
I reinstall windows and get the same error.
If anybody could help me i will eternally gratefull.
Sorry for the writing i am argentinian.

S3 won't cut it.
I have a similiar board and attract man theme is slow motion.
simple themes might work.
The glitches you are seeing are due to the lack of onboard ram for the video.
you can try to share more system ram with the video in the bios but you would be better off with even an old radeon 7000 or geforce 2
