I don't think so. But it is achievable to make a plugin to do this.

Thanks for the reply. Bummer about no plugin being available as I would love to use Attractmode.

Is there a way of running a batch file via mame per game on start up and exit?

There is an UltraStik360 plugin. Obviously it will only work with the UltraStik360 and it's software based so doesn't physically change the gate of the joystick.

Just wondering why would you want to do that in software unless it was an ultrastik360 or similar?  I bought a couple 4/8 way switchables from Ultimarc back in 2004...J-Sticks.  They are switchable from the top and have a true restrictor plate.... Also only $22/ea.   Not sure if I can post a link, so just go to Ultimarc and look at it there.

I have 2 ServoStiks from Ultimarc in my cab, which rotates the restrictorplate by two small motors (not actually servo motors by the way). Ledblinky has support for that, and I have to use Ledblinky as I have RGB led buttons. That works beautifully together with AttractMode.
