Emulators / REDREAM EMULATOR "dreamcast"

Themes / flipper "theme preview"

flipper, demo....

so i was making a mini nes theme, and i trashed it...kind of tired of the sounds..
then i have a older theme, city hunted was not all that i wanted...but still cool.

so with new grafix and sound, and a cross between the functionality and newer list's
iv made this "flipper"  moves fast ,,clean brite and fun..

im hoping to have it out in a week or so.

Scripting / Q: on missing art for FadeArt module

so lets say your using this to add a snap....
local snap = fe.add_artwork(  "snap", flx*0.050, fly*0.200, flw*0.200, flh*0.250 );

and you dont have a "snap" for it ,,if you put a pic or a vid in the layout called "snap.png" it
will use that in place of the missing..

ok.. now if your using ..module fadeart
local snap = FadeArt (  "snap", flx*0.050, fly*0.200, flw*0.200, flh*0.250 );
it dont work.

Q: anyone know how to add a filler for this..thanks

Retrorama for AM....

here ya go its a prety good take on the theme for ES,, but not perfect..

big thanks to ...phill doddles for the art work.
big thanks to keilmillerjr for the module...

some 76, consols/ gendras suported,  includs

System menu, & theme & module  just remember that u need to match all
your the artwork!


 also the big one,  To enjoy the theme to the fullest
you will need .........
these magicTokins compleated in your IE: "%home%>romlists>nes.txt"

to see them...

any problems, let me know and will get them worked out..peace

Notes: this theme personaly has more than ill ever need ..
and im done with it..just some element posisining really.
the art was all ready done, the bigest part..
i think the gem out of the is keilmillerjr new module..
iv already got three other theme's in the making because of it..

any one know if it is possible to set ".word_wrap = true;"

to only,  a set amount of lines  like 2

ie: if the text is the length of 3 lines only 2 lines will show. ???

how to add a custom loading screen for every game that you have..

at some point we have all wanted a custom loading screen..
so when i saw the plugin for this i thought..ok
but one only!  common relay......

OK so this was trial an error,  but i found out how to

thanks to "Keilmillerjr's" plugin

#1 steps..  goto "sticky" modules and plugin gallery
download "fadetogame plugin"

#2 put in "plugins" folder

#3 open AM & "tab" "plugin" enable plugin.nut ,,save & exit

#4 goto "plugins folder" now edit "plugin.nut ,, edit this line to....

shade = fe.add_artwork("title", 0, 0, fe.layout.width, fe.layout.height); 

#5 goto "scraper" folder add new folder with system name ie: snes
in this folder add , "newfolder" > title

#6 in the new folder "snes > title" add your custum loading screen pic
and name it just like you would for snaps or videos  ie: Contra III - The Alien Wars.png

done, now when you start game it will show your custom loading screen for that game...

notes: in the plugin menu u can change the start time,,and exit time
now u need to set this to your prefrence
mine is.

to game run time       3000
from game time         500

ie: 3 sec
ie: 1/2 sec

so in a text list animation...
as soon as i enable "list.charsize = font_size;"
it breaks the "scale"animation.

with it disabled it works fine,,butt it is way the wrong size
that i need.

?how would one set the defalt charsize maybe in a different manner so
it would work..

it seems that when using,

it works as intended, no vid noise,,  but after launching a game and exiting,  you can here the video playing
till you move to new selection, up ,down-then it go's quiet again.

any one have a fix for this?
