Like keilmillerjr pointed, you can play with the opacity of the video background.
Open layout.nut and look for:
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// On Screen Objects
// Background Image
if ( my_config["bg_image"] == "video") {
local bg = fe.add_artwork( "snap", bgx, bgy, bgw, bgh );
}
Add there the opacity for background like this:
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// On Screen Objects
// Background Image
if ( my_config["bg_image"] == "video") {
local bg = fe.add_artwork( "snap", bgx, bgy, bgw, bgh );
bg.alpha = 150;
}
Notice there the "bg.alpha = 150;". You can play with the values from 0 to 255.
