Rim list help
« on: May 18, 2017, 05:19:08 AM »
Ok so i understand how to get rid of clones.

My question is how to get rid of duplicate roms using the filters

An example,  my mame rom set has maybe 5 or so different rom revisions for 1943.
Id like for only one to show in my mame rom list.

I'd prefer to use the filters and not delete the roms.
I'd also not want to manually edit my rom list

Any help is appreciated

A no clones global filter will take care of the extra roms in MAME

Here's the rule
Code: [Select]
global_filter
rule                 CloneOf not_equals .*

You can manually edit your romlists using a text editor on the Pi or in Windows. You can also edit the specifics of a game using the "edit game" button/key in AM.
