Way to go make my guide on dahone obsolete already. LOL  ;)

On your change scrpits to not reboot I have been using the "Exit Command" to boot into EmulationStation from AM and just F4 and type Attract for going back.  Would be great to have a scrpit to do that though, mind you if your going to make changes chances are you'll have your keyboard out anyway. (mines a mini wireless)

I dont know if is a retropie 3.7 problem, because i was using the v.02 (retropie 3.7) without problems. Maybe is the SFML version. Are you using the same new SFML version ( https://github.com/mickelson/sfml-pi used in v.03) with the retropie 3.6?

FWIW I have non of the keyboard issues described, running several setups: Floob's v1 X-AM on 3.6, and two flavours of self compiled X-AM on 3.7, and nonX-AM on 3.7.

AL lib: (WW) alc_initconfig: Failed to initialize backend "pulse"

glGetError 0x500
glGetError 0x500

this only pops up on the new "non-X" AM versions, compiled using the new SFML w/ hardware accelerated graphics and no X dependency.

What is the GPU split for this image?
I was getting this error because I forgot to up my GPU to 256mb.
Though, this was in retroarch.
I don't recall seeing it in AM.

Very careful with image of 19GB. Because you must dump in 32/64gb Sdcard and when you run for first time... EXPAND sdcard!!!!!

Because I have not done and when I set the template AM, they are cleared configurations AM!

Now... I am writing image again in SDcard.  >:(

Hello Floob.
I like your work and Retropie Attract Mode. You can control the Attract Mode as Retropie with the PS3 wireless controller or only the keyboard?? Works PS3 gamepad on the menu Attract? When you install a clean Retropie 3.7, PS3 controller works without errors. However, once you install your image floob-retropie-attractmode-v04-07-MAY-2016 and in Retropie using the install script install PS3 controller, so after the restart PS3 controller does not connect. Can you help me with something?

I use RPi3, 16GB SD card Kingston class 10, PS3 original sony controller, tested with internal bluetooth and external bluetooth dongle. Attract image V2,V3 and V4. The same problem. Retropie clean image work OK, Retropie+Attract non work. Why?

Excuse my bad English, I'm from Czech Republic ...

Known Issues
- AM startup error
AL lib: (WW) alc_initconfig: Failed to initialize backend "pulse"
glGetError 0x500
glGetError 0x500
glGetError 0x500

What is the GPU split for this image?
I was getting this error because I forgot to up my GPU to 256mb.
Though, this was in retroarch.
I don't recall seeing it in AM.

This is in the /boot/config.txt
gpu_mem_256=128
gpu_mem_512=256
gpu_mem_1024=256

IDK then because that should be fine.
I'll double check to see if I get that error for AM on dietpi distro.
Soon as I figure out why my "sound card" isn't being detected by AM. LOL!

Hi!

One question about roms info.

The footer line only appear question mark and the rom's name. It's correct?

Another question...

How do I know which emulator I have selected? There's no info in screen.
