Title: Can't get Project64 games to launch
Post by: wdcook3 on February 16, 2018, 12:47:37 PM
I have no problem getting Project64 to launch on it's own but can't get it to load here.  I have the games showing up but when I hit enter to try and launch them like the mame games I have working nothing happens.  I have searched google for quite awhile to make sure i have all the info entered correctly.  If anyone can let me know what I can do to help that would be greatly appreciated!  I have an old dell optiplex 380 but again, I haven't had any problems getting it to run normally.  To be clear I have not moved around any of the project64 folders, i just pointed them to the correct spot, never read about having to do anything extra than that.

Emulator name:  N64
Executable:  c:\Project64\Project64.exe
Command Arguments "[romfilename]"
Rom Path: c\Project64\roms
Rom Ext: .zip;.n64;.z64;.rom      (All games I have so far are .64)
System id:  Arcade
Info source Scrapper: thegamesdb.net
Max run time:0

Again, much appreciated for the help!

Game roms must be .zip

Check Rom path "C:\Project64\roms"

Post console output when you run a game.

@nevincho
that's not correct. Project 64 supports different file formats:
zip , 7z , v64 , n64 , z64 , rom , usa , jap , pal , bin , ndd

@wdcook3
this is my config:
Code: [Select]
executable           C:\attract\EMU\Project64\Project64.exe
args                 "[romfilename]"
rompath              C:\attract\EMU\Project64\roms
romext               .zip;.z64;.v64
exit_hotkey          Escape
