Hi, the problem I have (most of the time, sometimes all works great) is that when I launch a game, I get a black screen, but do not see neither mame nor AM. With CTRL+ALT+DEL I can see that mame has loaded and I can change focus to it and the games plays correctly. When I exit mame and return to AM then I get the problem again when launching any game.
I have tried with different themes, with different screen resolutions, with clean installs and with a different graphics card. The card I have connected normally is an Intel onboard card (Dell Optiplex), the other I tried is a Radeon 7470.
I have read several posts (mostly where mame does not release focus to AM), but I can't find a solution.
Any advice greatly appreciated
Many thanks

Windows or Linux?

Hi, Windows 7
Thanks

I have tested with version 2.4.0 and all works good (same emulator, paths, config etc. as version2.4.1). Unfortunately version 2.4.0 causes me a different problem (will start a new post for that). Could someone check if the changes made from 2.4.0 -> 2.4.1 cause the problem?
Thanks

AM has big problems with regaining focus in Windows 10 it seems.
I've just spent an hour trying to get 2.30 or 2.41 to work properly with MAME, and it just cannot get focus back when exiting MAME.
Also, trying to run latest MAME 0.202, it just goes to a black screen. My old 0.201 build launches at least. But can't properly exit back to AM because AM can't get focus.
I love AM, but I'm close to settling on another FE at this point.

I’m running attract with windows 10 1607 and have no issues. I might upgrade my cab with attract 2.4.1 and mame 0.201 this weekend. Will report back.

I myself have found many issues with 2.4 and 2.41 so I went back to 2.3. And I use mame 191 . works perfect. So I'm thinking try using 2.3. 32bit cuz 64bit has issues as well. Don't know if its just a windows thing or what...

I'd recommend going to 10 if you haven't already or have a good reason not to.
