Title: MOdified Image, now lost SPACE?

 i removed some stuff from a 128gb image i didnt need, like emulators and roms. I freed up the room, set up all my controls and when i READ to make a backup copy, it is still the 119GB file even though i know i freed up room. does  READING the image create some dummy file, if so, does that mean i dont have room on the card anymore?

Hello,

Chances are that the tool you used to make the image of your SDcard reads all the content of the card, used or not instead of copying only what's used.
Reading a card does not create any hidden files usually.
