Title: Update all packages

updating installed packages adds "basic" new displays of updated emus.
i have to delete them manually

can this be disabled?

This should be asked on the RetroPie forum. That's the way RetroPie set it up and has nothing to do with AttractMode. I personally don't use the RetroPie script to install or upgrade AttractMode because of several weird things they do with their script.
