Title: Hyperspin themes

So I'm using the newest version of of AM and Retropi. Newest HW version of the Pi as well. Anyone having issues with the Hyperspin themes running VERY slow? They seem to take forever to load. And run crazy slow. I've tried both version of the video decoder as well. Thanks

I'm coming to the conclusion that either
- the PI is not good enough to run the Hyperspin themes
or
- the Hyperspin plug in for Attract Mode still needs allot of work.


I  have done the following:
- scaled my videos to 320-240
- reduced the Frame Rate from 60 to 30

and still had slow down problems.

the only way I can get decent performance is when;  I REMOVED!!!! (rebuilt)  all my Main Menu Themes so they don't have any Flash animations.

I only rebuilt my main menu themes, as this is not a viable option for the game specific themes.  I'm not about to rebuild 1K+  MAME themes.

Thanks. I figured the IO for those big video files were a bit much for the Pi right now. Thanks for the amazing reply.
